Memex Capture · browser extension
Memex Capture keeps your Memex archive updated live with the conversations you have on Claude, ChatGPT and DeepSeek.
How it works
Install the extension and sign in with Google — the same account as your Memex. No second password, no separate archive.
Keep chatting on the supported sites. Your prompts are captured and batched to your archive automatically — nothing to click, nothing to paste.
Your Memex link stays current. Any AI you share it with knows your latest context, not last month’s snapshot.
What it does
Captures your prompts as you send them on Claude, ChatGPT and DeepSeek. Response capture exists too, but it’s experimental and opt-in.
Captures are batched roughly every 12 seconds, with an offline buffer and automatic retry so nothing is lost when the network blips.
Turn capture on or off per site, plus a master off switch when you want the extension to sit completely quiet.
Each device gets a write-only token: a capture token can never read your archive back, and you can revoke it per device at any time.
Data goes only to memex.li — enforced in three places: the extension manifest, its service worker, and its options validation.
Privacy
The extension reads only the chat composer on the sites listed above. Nothing else.
